Until the team puts together a few winning seasons they won't get bargains. They need to sign some guys that fill some necessities on the team to short term over pays.

Or the hope that the teams actually starts to have some of these guys recently drafted start to make the team.

It is sad that the guys brought in to help make a difference (Eager, Belanger, Smyth...) have not lived up to it, and the guys drafted (outside of Ebs and the #1s) are not making a contribution.

From someone not living in Edm, and I do not listen to sport talk radio from Edm, so my main source of Oiler news is mainstream national news and reads stuff here. I tend to get the idea that the problem is not team attitude, but one of management attitude through Tambi, Lowe, the lackadaisical coaching of the past few years.
