Klefbom with a whopping total of 7 points in 67 SEL games Across 3 seasons and has shown no progress whatsoever in that league now that's a joke
- MLeafs81

yes, had an NHLE of 12P this year playing 25 mins a night in a mens league, and is a shutdown Dman.

Oiler's fans would be blessed with Schenn production from Klefbom.

Nurse was a unanimous top 10 pick. Again a shutdown D who'll likely be on a pairing with Rielly at the upcoming WJC covering for his ass.

Thanks for the ignorant statement though. Reaaally unlike leaf fans

Schenn'd be TO's 2nd best Dman this year. Misused in TO. Played #2 minutes against top lines and faired well in PHI

Yes, I'd be more than fine if Klefbom was a top 3D by 22.

Thank you

He played 11 games last year and was +7. He had a great start to then season and was according to his coaches progressing to be the leader of the team. I'll take their word and the people that have been watching his rehab ahead of some douche laff fan any day...

I'm pretty sure trouba and McCabe were the top defensman for the 2013 world juniors...

2012 was a draft deep in defense. This 2012 was a weak draft is a false narrative created by Oilers fans because their team was picking #1, as usual. and their wasn't the normal superstar there.

Additionally the scouting bureau ranked Rielly 5th, http://www.tsn.ca/draftcentre/feature/?id=62970, and once again he dropped due to injury.

Those links were rubbish. Look at those lists and what actually happened in the draft, they are nowhere close. I'll take the NHL scouts rankings over the bloggers any day.

He'd be behind Franson and Phaneuf, so no he wouldn't have been TO's 2nd best Dman but, he would've been Edmonton's best.

ah the 2013 world juniors, where Klefbom was injured and didn't play a game. Now we definitely know you're pulling sh*t out of your ass

so he was still ranked 5th-9th. The argument was Rielly was a top 3 talent and was ranked as so.

and yes, 2013 was a deeper draft because Mackinnon, Drouin, Jones, and even Barkov could have gone 1st overall another year. The talent you could find at 9, could be found in the late 20s. Rielly likely would've gone exactly where Nurse did this year.

Franson was playing 4/5 mins against soft comp. An impressive season, and I think he'll only get better but all we really was this year was a PP QB. 16 of 29P on the PP.

As of now I'd take Schenn. Both still young.

Could have arguably have been EDM's best. Not at all relevant. Thanks though

Once again you are mistaken. The list you provided is one ranking and was only north american skaters. Its not actual NHL scouts. The list you probably were thinking of is Bob McKenzies list which is a consensus of ten NHL scouts. It also shows the ranking of the player in all the other lists.
Bob McKenzie's list had MReilly at 8.

Having seen both of their game I'd take Franson, easily. Schenn is going to be good but, he needs to keep improving his skating to truly be a top line guy. Schenn has no offensive upside and Franson is pretty solid in his own right defensively.
