And how much of a typical season can we expect Hemsky to be productive?
poopty trade. - LandlordTom
You can probably count on a sub par season from him as well. Thats why this Trade is complete garabage. We don't want your trash and you don't want ours

He only won 31 games that year. haha I highly doubt he was red hot for 25 games in a row. unless red hot means lossing games during your hot streak. - Heavyd17
You do know he missed a bunch of games right? And still won 30. Like he did for 7 straight years. Something Dubnyk has done how many times exactly?

Miller won 5 games while facing 40+ shots. Most in the league this year. No goalie has to put their team on his back like Miller - sbroads24
I was pointing out a singular performance. No question Miller got pelted this year but to get outshot 40-14 and come out with a win says something about your goalie. A couple of Miller's games (7-4 win against Boston, 4-2 win against Pittsburgh where you had 33 SOG) aren't really the same thing when you're talking about singular heroic efforts.
On the other hand, he did have that 3-2 gem against NYI where you guys got outshot 43-15, so I will say that's totally comparable to Dubby's against Columbus.

he was, never said 25 wins in a row..I said 25 games straight he carried us with a brilliant stretch..its forgotten cause we just missed getting in..and he did it the year before also, I couldnt believe he did it again the next year after that Lucic hit

please explain this:
Dogged by the concussion, Miller combined to go just 8-9-2 in December and January of last season, with a 3.06 GAA and .897 save percentage. But in February and March, with his health no longer in question after two concussions in less than a year, Miller’s numbers soared to 17-5-5, 2.02 and .935.

He just twisted what red hot means, you won't win, apparently you can't lose even 2 games during a "red hot" streak - annoyance_101
what I hate is fans that say how bad a player is when during a year when the player did something like this, Miller was the hottest goalie in the league the last 2 months of the last time we had an 82 game season, but we missed out sadly

Stop tying to argue with someone who probably thinks GAA is an important statistic
It's simple really. The only way the Sabres get a fair deal for Miller is if the team trading for him can sign him. If he goes UFA,( and I would think he wants to) they will have to accept much less. If Im Buffalo I'm hoping a couple of contenders need a keeper at the deadline.
