Why is it ridicules? and I never mentioned Duby at all. Miller is a better player then Hemsky even though it's a different position. - SABRES 89
Yes, Miller is a far better goalie then Hemsky is.
However, Hemsky is a way better RW.
So it evens out.

miller is abetter player than hemmer.
and worth marginally more. but not that much. maybe another 2nd or something.
the point was ridiculous as it has nothing to do with them not liking hemmer.
why does buffalo want to trade miller? cause he sucks?
it's actually an identical situation to miller/enroth for the most part.
two younger burgeoning star right wingers have made ales expendable |

It was taken out of context. Sabre 89 asked if Dubnyk was so great why would we trade him? Which I flipped and asked the same thing about Miller. |

we have our fair share of players that I think the word 'suck' might apply.
but I don't think hemsky is one of em.
uber talented, frustrating, and fairly injury prone are more apt words to describe him imo |

Sorry about that, my mistake. Either way a trade happens for two reasons. Two teams have needs to fill and find a dance partner, or a player wants out and demands a trade. I think this would be an example of filling needs. |

I think a change for Miller would be good, also think that would bring back his elite status. Edmonton needs to start winning soon and Miller would be a good help towards. I like dubey but he's no Ryan Miller, yes Miller has had rough couple seasons but that was the team in general. I don't see buffalo taking Hemsky back no point for them as they are rebuilding and is why they want to trade Miller all he will do is help them draft in a worse position. I think it will be more like prospect, picks possibly dubynk going back. |

drew Stafford 2010?? fuk yeah.
drew Stafford 2013? meh. prob not.
even if i would rather drew than hemsky best case.
but Id prob end up choosing to keep hemmer and let him walk at the end of the year than the extra year of staffords contract |

A good spot for Miller would be on the Island with Tavares. Solid young core where the only missing pieces are a number 1 goalie and a number 1 dman. |

I'm not convinced Dubnyk isn't the answer. He's just at the right age to hit his prime. New York doesn't haven that option in net. |

I'm all for sticking with the Big Easy this year. If he doesn't work out, address it next year. I think he will be a solid tender. MacT needs to address the teams size and D first. |
