Former Red Wings forward Shawn Burr, who inspired fans throughout his battle with Leukemia, has died at the age of 47.

I like Spector's site. Hes one of the only level headed guys out there. The only guy like that on this site is Meltzer. In fact, Meltzer rules all.

They have "tolerance" for me because we all know each other well and hang out several times a year (at NHL events and post game parties) and I can honestly say I don't have even a slight enemy among any of the big names in our sport. I don't take personal shots at them and they don't take personal shots at me. Sure Dregs will call out a rumor now and again when it involves a source he is close with and I will do the same.. It goes with respect and professionalism...but the world you think exists simply is in your mind. it doesn't exist or look a thing like you imagine. Sorry..but, if it helps you to sleep at night go on thinking I am some hated evil person....doesn't mean a thing to me personally. You are here more than almost anyone else, so I thank you for your loyalty to all you hate.

Sad news and even worst that he battled cancer for 3 years and dies when he fell down a flight of stairs at his home and suffered massive trauma to his brain.

Such anger issues. They have "tolerance" for me because we all know each other well and hang out several times a year (at NHL events and post game parties) and I can honestly say I don't have even a slight enemy among any of the big names in our sport. I don't take personal shots at them and they don't take personal shots at me. Sure Dregs will call out a rumor now and again when it involves a source he is close with and I will do the same.. Spectors site and Hockey Buzz are entirely different sites. Spectors site is a hub where he brings together news and rumors from all over and links to the articles about them and provides his take on things. Basically he does what Eklund wishes people would do in his comment section. Hockeybuzz is all about the rumors and creating story lines. Weather these stories are true, or fabricated I don't know, nor do I care. This is pure entertainment for me and really just provides me with new thoughts about possible situations and outcomes of trades, FA signings etc. All rumors are rumors until they are official moves.

Personally though EK. I don't think its good to try and defend yourself against someone elses thoughts especially spector. Its two different worlds and attempts to defend yourself hurt credibility even if they are true.
