Tavares has 195 points to Halls 145 points since Taylor has been in the league. That doesn't scream basically outproduced to me.

That's just since Hall has been in the league.

Can you clearly communicate what you want? I will not say that the young guys on the Oilers are going to be better than player x or y, because I am not retarded. I have no idea how they'll turn out, but I do know they're doing quite well so far... I'm happy with them at the moment.

I could be like some Zorches out there and claim that Hall, RNH, Yakupov, and Eberle will all end up being better than so and so, but who the (frank) know this stuff? Nobody.

- laughs2907

So you wont put a rating on the Oilers players, only everyone else?

That's a fair argument, but when you look at Hall's linemates compared to Tavares I think you will find Hall with the advantage.

Who did I put a rating on? I said Tavares and McDavid are both currently overrated. There is zero evidence to support that McDavid will be on par with Crosby, let alone better than the guy. Crosby blew the guy out of the water when Crosby was something like 100 days older. Just being real.

Clouts, I thought you said Klefbom was a shoe-in to play with the Oilers next season, in fact you pegged him as a possible calder, Norris & MVP candidate.

Now you say he's going to start in the AHL - maybe he's not as good as you thought he was because according to you, there's no way he should even be considered for the AHL.

Being real has no place on HB. You should watch Dave Chapelle to see what happens when keeping it real goes wrong.

How about last season when Hall's PPG was much higher than Tavares'? Eberle, and RNH wee both injured...

Gagner is no slouch, how many games did Eberle miss last year?

Dude, you have to know by now, that Clout's barely knows jack about current NHL players, let alone prospects that have been playing in Europe.

I know right. I am kinda pissed he quit when he did cause i was really just getting into it. (the racial draft and black white supremacist were absolute genius)
but quitting before it got stale and dated wasn't all that bad of an idea either.

Gagner needs talent to thrive... Eberle didn't miss any games, but he played the full season injured.

Moulson is no slouch either... Boyes has always put up good numbers as well (if he even played on the first line this season, I don't even know to be honest)

I recently did a bit of research on Devan Dubnyk and I found some interesting numbers that might help answer the question of if he's a legitimate starter or not, for those who are interested heres the link http://johanneshockey.wee...bnyk-talent-analysis.html

Great write-up!

You mentioned that he improved as the year went on, would've loved to have seen the 12-game splits data if you had it.

Yeah I think Nick Schultz is going to get traded.

If we assign Larsen to the AHL, he'll need to clear waivers to get up here. Wouldn't be surprised if we went:

Schultz-Ference
Petry-Smid
Grebeshkov-Belov
Larsen

and sent old Nicky packing

N. Shultz does seem like the odd man out.

I like the guy... but I doubt the team misses him that much, if at all, if he is traded.
