At least Atlanta drafted well. Bogosian, Kane, Postma, Little, Pavelec, and Enstrom and that's just the list of current players on the roster for the Jets.
- blacksheep1
Atlanta didn't do anything but fail to support a franchise, who still has failed to make playoffs in every season except for 1 in their existence, which they got swept in by the Rangers. Not to mention, the 3 1st overall picks in which they encountered, they picked a goalie name Let one in, a plug that couldn't score on an empty net and a self absorbed loser who wanted nothing to do with your city. As for Bogosian, he just signed a ridiculous contract for being nothing so far, Little is much of the same, Pavelec is worse than any goalie on the Leafs current team, and Enstrom much like Bogosian has serious problems staying healthy. |

Pavele worse than the leafs goalies you say? Hmm the Leafs had so much faith in Reimer that they traded for a 1st round bust, now turned back up. Pavelec would start in the hub for sure. |

Lmao. Pavelec is horrible. Leafs seeked better support to step up in moments where Reimer failed. Moments Pavelec knows nothing about. Unlike Winnipeg, the Leafs are looking to upgrade any chance they can, whereas a team in Winnipeg or Atlanta, has a hard time resigning mediocrity. Have another peach Georgia, hockeys gone. |

Stats don't lie. Don't be a homer.
Oh and in limited action that "bust" had better numbers in every category then Pavelec. So yeah. |

Thank you for the great Leafs article, I've been waiting for something like this for a while, finally. Curious as to see where Biggs fits on your list, I would have thought he'd be in the top 5. |

At this point, I don't see Gauthier in the top 5....maybe like 8 out of 10. |

Im not sure whether there was any other circumstances involved, but the Canucks sent Jensen to play in Europe last year while he was still eligible for the OHL. Could the Leafs try something similar with Reilly?

the Maple Leafs future is looking pretty bright, and they also need to add Tyler Biggs on that list. |

Solid players, no superstars but look at the current cap - lupul, kessel (soon to be), Clarkson, JVR, bozak all signed to long term deals. If the forward prospects we currently have simply become effective nhlers that's all you can ask. As for the D, hopefully percy and finn come along as long term our D is not nearly as stable as our forwards or goalies. Hopefully one of the 2 becomes a stable top 4, can't bank on both and maybe one gets moved in a package? Reilly will be a player for sure. |

Not 100% sure, but since the title of the article was Top-10 Prospects : Leafs (1-5) I'm gonna go out on a limb and say these are the top 5. |

Perhaps one of the better leaf non-first round picks we've made in a long time. |
