Not really. He's a Flyersagnostic. - Flyskippy
That's probably more accurate than what I'd have gone with. |

Says the guy with a location written by a 6 year old. - Flyersgod
Actually, Aykroyd was 25 or 26 when he wrote it for Saturday Night Live. But hey, it's closer than you get in most of your posts to being correct |

You're talking about me being immature, and you quote Dan Aykroyd?
What is your argument here? That you're mature and i'm not? Who even debates maturity on a website?

Lets be honest... Jsaq complaining about bad jokes and immaturity is like someone complaining about a pile of crap smelling bad.

SNL should be taken to task for its hiring practices in the 70's. |

Nope. I said that you were unfunny and that your attempts at humor were adolescent. Nobody's debating maturity.
Then you poked fun at my location, which is a line from the Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Sketch from the 1970's, where Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtain did a segment called Point-Counterpoint. Aykroyd's responses generally started with the quote in my location. |

Apparently, there's a lot of six year olds running around quoting Dan Ayroyd. Who knew? |

You got pretty fired up over what you consider to be a gay joke at your expense. Even after declaring you're secure with yourself and it didn't bother you.
I'm moving on now, I suggest you do the same. |

We did an SNL play in 4th grade. As I was age 9, Stoy School was 3 years late in introducing us to the show. |

My cousins introduced it to me. My parents also allowed me to watch a lot of things that would go against a lot of guidelines today. |

Gettin' catty in here. If only someone would show up with a list of "facts" to show who's right and wrong, it would be complete. |

Skippy is right. Stoy School was very progressive for it's time. |

Since you brought up Emo... do different age groups have different meanings for Emo?
I always thought Emo was those kids that listen to death music and acted goofy. - Flyersgod
When I was coming up, emo was a derogatory way of pigeon-holing bands like Sunny Day Real Estate, Braid, and The Get Up Kids.
Not sure when it morphed into incessant shrieking, anime haircuts, paint-on jeans, and synchronized spinning of guitars like idiots, but apparently that's where it's ended up. |

They did discourage Dad from taking part in "Take Your Kids to Work Day," though. |

I love old "emo." The Get Up Kids (until the country album), Saves the Day (first 2 albums), Boy Sets Fire (until After the Eulogy).
Now, like you said, I just don't get it. A bunch of skinny dudes in tight jeans with soggy black mops on their heads, shrieking nonsense words behind bad faux-hardcore riffs...bring back Fairweather. |
