How Emo...

At the time, $4M was a hefty price tag for a guy that wasn't a guaranteed top 4 dman. Plus, he was the Flyers 5th dman for a while. $4M seems like a lot for a 5th dman.

It was still a good move at the time. I just don't know if it was a slam dunk on Homer's side. Part of the reason he came for a 2nd was because of the length and amount left on his deal. You assume risk when you take that kind of money on. Mez contract has become a bit of a problem this offseason.

Well, he was a 20+ minute a night guy, so he wasn't used as a traditional 5th defenseman, in terms of minutes played.

When he's been healthy, he's been a very solid and capable player for the Flyers...my concern is the arm falling off while he's covering a two on one

I always thought Emo was those kids that listen to death music and acted goofy.

Well, he was a 20+ minute a night guy, so he wasn't used as a traditional 5th defenseman, in terms of minutes played.

When he's been healthy, he's been a very solid and capable player for the Flyers...my concern is the arm falling off while he's covering a two on one
