I bought a Crosby collectors set that has his best moments from his rookie season... It's cool to have, but I'd assume they pumped out a (frank)-load and it'll be worth next to nothing. It's unfortunate that people don't abuse their cards anymore

I was checking out the value of my Jagr/Ciccarelli/Klima/Hunter/Federov/Blake/Sundin/Hasek/Belfour/Joseph/Richter/Essensa/Weight/Madono/Smyth/Nolan/Bondra/Moginly/Nedved/Hatcher/Brind'Amour/Ricci/Recchi/Rob and Scott Niedermayer/Daigle/Juneau ect ect rookie cards were worth and they were basically worth nothing

I also have Roberto Alomar and Shaquille o'Neal rookie cards that are apparently worth (frank) all

Yeah, once you hit '89 the market on rookies plummets for the better part of the next 10 years. The crap part of it is that many of them from the newer manufacturers were relatively high (eg, $50 Federov RC from Pro Set Platinum) until the market self-corrected for how flooded it was with them. Was a big change in the hobby!

He has an option to buy now for US $3.50 though. If you had any sense, you'd sell everything you own and invest all of it in Bobby Smith 1979-80 O-Pee-Chee cards.

No Name, which I find to be superior. The only time I purchase Kraft is when I get spirals, which are quite delicious
