Forget Crosby, this kid is the next Gretzky! I saw him a 15, singlehandedly tear the Wolves apart. It might take a few years in the NHL to climb the scoring ladder (assuming he's going to end up on the worst team in the league in 2015)...but if he ends up with a few good line mates he'll never put up a season under 100 point till he retires... Can't wait to see him dominate the World Juniors this X-mas - sudburyboy
i think these days no matter how dominant you are in juniors, one should never assume because once you understand the difference in playing vs 220lbs+, 6'4+ Dmen who can skate and have their own significant skill it no longer simply comes down to skill even if your skill level is incredible
it has become pretty impossible to predict who will become a superstar (or if your success will for sure translate at the pro level), nevermind the likes of Crosby or Gretzky, until we ACTUALLY see them in the league |

if going strictly by points then YES hall had more points than tavares. if going by who was more valuable to the team then NO hall was not more important to the team. |

You are 100% right about the difference between playing in the O instead of the show, but when Bobby Orr wants to be the kids agent, and Crosby is already talking about how he's better than he was at his age... It's definitely ok to get excited as a Hockey fan for the next generation of greatness...injury pending |

With the 1st overall pick in the 2015 NHL Draft, the Calgary Flames select, from the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League, Connor McDavid. - IggyOnly

I would take Tavares over Hall any day of the week. I think a lot of others would as well. Tavares is the total package and I love packages. |

Hall had more points. Tavares had a better year. IMO of course. - Marshalle
Make Hall play with Brad Boyes for half a season - Not two top 5 draft picks.
See where his points totals go.
Moulson also missed 10-15 point blank/wide open nets which JT would have figured on some of those assists.
No knock on Hall but lets see how their point totals compare this full season.
And someone remind the kid to wear his helmet with a visor in warmups. |

Hmmm. Flames picking first in 2015? Here's a question. What about expansion? What if the league adds an expansion team. The new divisions arnt equal. Most agree the league could grow in the coming years.
With the first pick in the 2015 draft. The Seattle. The Quebec. The ??
Thoughts. If there was an expansion team I'm assuming they would get first pick? I'm hoping I'm not trolled too much here. Just something that popped in my head |

Boyes has always put up good numbers.
RNH, and Eberle were injured all year... If they were healthy, Hall would have had even higher numbers.
Yeah, let's compare both players after this season |

no trolling, you arent far off, there is a good chance they will expand, i doubt itll be before 2015, but even if that were the case, didnt every team allow the expansion teams to "draft" and take "unprotected players" from every existing club? |

Well that would be an expansion draft of existing players. But the new team or teams would get picks in the draft. |

So would anyone with an a brain. All oiler fans thought hall sucked until last year. Hes a good/great player, but he will never be on the elite level tavares is on. |
