This is the best guesswork I've seen on the Flyers draft board from Flight Plan. It seems like that late season run didn't change anything since they had Morin ranked 6th. If they had taken him ahead of Nurse and Ristolainen people (including me) would have gone nuts, even though we all know if will be at least five years till we can really start evaluating a draft.

I was a bit surprised they had Morin ranked that high all along. I'm glad we got him, as it appears he was the man all along. I wouldn't have taken Nurse now in retrospect, Risto was still my first choice. Hagg will be a steal for us.

Watched that live yesterday, all I could do is applaud the catcher. how awesome that he could still make the play despite getting bear tackled by Utley.

But the travesty of the shared Sixers/Devils ownership deal would mean that a portion of the $0.50 I pay for a 76ers ticket on stubhub will help the NJ Devils swipe free agents from the Flyers.

Think about it-- 19,000 tickets @ 0.50 each for 41 home games means that the Devils will get a smooth $389,500 to use to directly compete against Mr. Snider's Flyers.
