I don't know how our organization will continue from here after this shocking and saddening announcement.

Hall is a fourth line player. Laughton is expected to be more then that. On top of that, why add more to the cap then we have to?

That did not help your point as to why we shouldn't play Laughton over Hall
And if it fits under the cap, then we should do it. Adding 500k in cap for comfort reasons is not a good reason to deny a deserving young player a roster spot

Exactly. I fully expect him to at least get the 9-game tryout. He was projected as being 2 years away, but he had a pretty monster season in the OHL. Unless he comes to camp and looks like a fish out of water, he has a legit shot at a roster spot. He'll have to earn it, but he'll be given a fair shake.
