The French version of the National Inquirer, the Journal de Montreal, is just pathetic, it is pretty much blogging in print.

I have high hopes for Kassian, but until he proves he's a top6 forward, I won't consider him one. Perhaps I should have specified "proven."

Booth is a wildcard. It's been a while since he's produced at a top6 pace. Obviously health has been a huge issue.

Again, a lot to prove, but I'm not totally confident in him, and don't see why anyone would be.

Richardson was a healthy scratch for LA for a good portion of last season, and their cup winning year. He has a ring, yes, but that has nothing to do with how capable a 3C he is.

He played wing for LA the majority of their cup winning year anyway.

He's a good 4C, but still a downgrade on Lapierre, and would be one of the weakest 3Cs in the NHL.

Just because a player never hurt a team doesn't mean you should be optimistic about him as a 3C.

And I would honestly be shocked if he was the Canucks 3C this season...

I kind of like Richardson and I think he'll surprise you guys in Van, he's not bad. I agree with you about Booth too, he has a pretty good balanced skill set. Lapierre is one of the reasons the Canucks lose though, in my opinion. There is just something about those guys like him, Sean Avery, Carcillo, Burrows, that karma doesn't like. They are not focused and they are not winners. I think the Canucks would be better without Lapierre.

Hahaha. Well I'm glad you're the kind of person that lumps evryone into the same group. Il agree there are some pretty bad fans in all ssports and for all teams. La press is like the sun, all trash.. What a comment like this shows tour maturity lvl. I bit on your comment and clouts. The fact that the whinners and overoverzealous fans are most prevalent is due to the fact there just more representing the habs. But with that there's also far more greta fans.

As for clouts his assesment is about as bad as it gets. He sounds like the uneducated kid saying that all fat people are terrible eaters... clouts being a fatty must have poor diet. Pretty lame eh?

The reason wasn't Kassian himself. He didn't play himself off that line.

He was playing great with the Sedins, and a number of his goals were from his own work, not just being in the right place at the right time.

Burrows was put back with the Sedins because they looked less effective with Kassian as a winger than with Burrows.

Burrows's speed, forechecking, and hockey sense just makes the Sedins more effective.

Symbiotic relationship, like Venom, and Spiderman...

Kassian even played decent the first few weeks after being taken off their line, but was still undeservedly demoted after any minor defensive error.

Eventually, he started to play scared, and treated the puck like a grenade.
