Not true. That is what makes Toronto the most interesting, IMO.

The Islanders are by far the most interesting team in the NHL. Cray cray owner, backup goalie for a general manager, residents that won't pay for a new arena, claiming goalies that won't report, trading for Tim Thomas's rights, etc.

I think the Toronto fans are the exception. Probably the most blindly loyal fanbase in the NHL. I mean, come on, they created a public day of mourning based on a blown penalty that's 2 decades old. And somehow, they have won every Stanley Cup ever because they are the best team in the NHL every year.

How can 2 teams that haven't sniffed the playoffs in recent years and a third with a long dragging out story that a lot don't even give a poop about anymore be #1, #2 and #3 on your list? Go eat another big mac.


The Luongo/Schnieder/Gillis clown show that has yet another chapter to it has to put the Canucks in the top 5, maybe top 3. Flyers would be in my top 3 as well, they always seem to be making significant changes every season. Could argue the Leafs/Habs since they have huge followings, most NHL fans either love or hate them, and the media is always overblows any story involved with them so they both have to be up there. Maybe the Rangers? Similar to the Flyers they've had a reputation for always trying to make a big splash/change.

And yes, I know you're desperately trolling for hits. Congrats, dbag.

Cloutier, you sir the biggest dbag I've ever read a blog from. Have you ever watched a game that hasn't involved the consistently losing oilers? They are a joke and have been for 6 years or more. Their is nothing interesting about them until the draft rolls around and are holding yet another top 10 pick or a fourth 1 st overall pick. That is where it starts and ends. It's wierd how jealous you are of the flyers organization. It's so obvious by your biased hate. You just troll for attention and comments. There is nothing respectful about that. Sad really

Go watch oil change. And that will tell you how boring of a franchise edm really is.

with the prices, games are more like SHOWS then actual sporting events.

The funny thing about this is there are actually fans of other teams that are so competitive that they are arguing that their team is actually a even bigger gong show than the Oilers.

Now that is what I call sticking up for your team there guys.

There is a article on one of the Oilers blogs, that points out that this summer, The Oilers REMOVED 20 players, and replaced them with 24 NEW players. They also replaced their GM, replaced their coaching, changed to without doubt the most goofiest new ECHL affiliate they could find, and finally got their new area going.

I would say that is far more interesting than any other team. Calgary gets 2nd place because of Harvey the hound's floating decapitated head, which was the only really cheerful thing to us Oiler fans about the flood.

no doubt he does it to poke the bear. there are a lot of us, and many are...uhhhhh....passionate.

plus they're a widespead fanbase. those bullies years drummed up a lot of people in the 70s much like the Raiders, Cowboys, and Steelers did. they offer a brand some people like.

I've never commented on here before. This guy is so terrible it's amusing. He clearly knows little about the sport outside of his team and evn his knowledge if edm is weak. The draft is the most interesting part of the oilers season. Who are they going to pick 1st overall again... 95% of the garbage this guy spews is just that garbage. Oilers aren't even top 20 most interesting team.
