Great Blog Clouts. I would have the Flyers higher as I see it through the orange glasses. It's been 15 years since the second run of Hextall and STILL goaltending is a question. We always spend to the cap, chase big free agents, and our rivalry with the Pens is best in the league right now. What makes this team the most interesting is I could see them in the Cup final next year or in the draft lottery. Never boring as a Flyers fan.

Calgary obviously I kid I kid...I think the 2 most interesting teams this year (without trying to be biased) is NYR and Vancouver, and the reason I find them interesting this year specifically is because of the coaching change...I'll be interested to see how both of those clubs turn out with new attitudes...

Also another few teams i'm gonna keep my eye out on is Colorado (because of Roy) and New Jersey...what a cluster(frank) that teams becoming I feel really bad for Schneider

The Islanders are by far the most interesting team in the NHL. Cray cray owner, backup goalie for a general manager, residents that won't pay for a new arena, claiming goalies that won't report, trading for Tim Thomas's rights, etc.
- Kinger34

As long as Wang is the owner the team will be an interesting side note. On the other hand, while they continue to build towards a contender, keep making the playoffs, and have one of the Top 5 players in the game, people are no longer laughing at the Islanders...only at the Owner

What a troll blog. Its completely subjective.
The fact that the Leafs dont crack your top 10 an the habs barely do makes it an even stupider list.
You think Edmonton media blows stuff out of proportion?
Haha you have no idea. Try living in Tor.

I think the Toronto fans are the exception. Probably the most blindly loyal fanbase in the NHL. I mean, come on, they created a public day of mourning based on a blown penalty that's 2 decades old. And somehow, they have won every Stanley Cup ever because they are the best team in the NHL every year.
- jmatchett383

While they love their hockey in Toronto lets not forget that the ACC will always be full because of the enormous corporate support and large casual fanbase. Even when the diehards are disgusted that place will be full

When was you're last Stanley Cup?

Philly is a shipwreck... still no goalie going into this season!!!

- jimmc7722

This is actually factually correct.

The Flyers will be putting 6 skaters on the ice, full time.

Of course the Oilers are #1...what a (frank)ing homer...

TO and Montreal outside the top 5...

Yeah but that's such a bs stat... most teams that are profitable just buy up the remaining seats and gives them to their community foundations are charitable donations. It's a tax loophole.

Its nothing but a troll blog.
1. Say Oil is best. Subject matter doesn't matter.
2. Make up outrageous reasons why every other team sucks.
3. Hit up the comment section for a couple of more troll posts.
4. Sit back and watch.

Why these blogs still outrage people is beyond me.

- Marshalle

There are even trolls that recognize this as a troll blog.

And I don't mean Internet trolls.

I mean actual trolls that live under bridges.

For me it would be:

Flyers - just seem to be such a manic organization for the past decade

Leafs - can they sustain success over a full season despite the numbers indicating they're due for a big regression (an advanced stats geek dream)

Oilers - can they finally take the jump from draft all-stars to quality hockey team?
