And that doesn't list any of the defensemen or goalies that may be better... |

Yeah but that's such a bs stat... most teams that are profitable just buy up the remaining seats and gives them to their community foundations are charitable donations. It's a tax loophole. - BigDre
"They just write it off"
"Write it off what?"
"Jerry, all these big companies just write off everything!"
"You don't even know what a write off is"
"Do you?"
"No, I don't!"
"But they do! And they're the ones writing it off!" |

Ottawa is the most interesting.
Last year, all of their star veterans were injured and a team of no-name kids bought into McLean's system and played it to a T on their way to success. This year their star veterans are healthy and they've even added Bobby Ryan. Are they going to be an elite team that both out executes and outskills other teams? Or is there going to be a clash between work-hards that buy into a system and skill-guys that want to do it their way?
I see little middle ground to their success actually this year, and the defining factor will be team chemistry. That's why they're the most interesting. |

mmhmm. and you're just naming the forwards, too. - Hesh_

Well I was just naming off forwards since obviously he was talking about Tavares, it is easier to compare forwards to forwards, but I believe certain defensemen are also better than Tavares... |

Great troll blog clouts!
All the leafs fans crying about not being in the top 10 = pure comedy gold.
Newsflash: Nobody cares about the leafs except for leafs fans. There isn't ANYTHING interesting about the team. They haven't been relevant in what... 40+ years?
The only thing interesting about the Leafs is their fans. It's fascinating how decade after decade they consistently view themselves as the center of the hockey universe and any player that is ever discussed as being a potential trade target is somehow linked to toronto. Every. Single. Time. |

"I started writing a blog the other day, ranking NHL teams from most to least interesting. It's become so large of a blog, that I'm breaking it into three sections."
I don't know if Richard is a master at creating discussion or the worst blogger on this site. Most to least interesting... What does that even mean? Purely a blog to create meaningless arguing.
Well played Mr. Cloutier, well played. |

I'd add Kane to that list of forwards as well. - laughs2907
As would I, I could have listed 10 players I would take before I took Tavares, I'm not saying he's bad, but he's elite as of yet |

Tavares is da bestest player evahhhh - laughs2907
Your sarcasm belies that you may be forgetting three important facts about him:
- It takes three players to knock him off the puck every time.
- He can literally produce by himself out there.
- He's 100x stronger than Taylor Hall.

1. Toronto
2. Montreal
3. New York Rangers
4. Detroit
5. Chicago
6. Boston
7. Pittsburgh
8. Vancouver
9. Philadelphia
10. Los Angeles - rmiethaner
1) LOL?
2) Montreal should be in the top 10, but 2 might be a bit high
3) wtf is interesting about the Rangers? They were pretty interesting in the 90's, but now that torts is gone, there is nothing there worth talking about.
4) Detroit is only interesting because they somehow continue to be one of the best franchises in the league despite the fact the entire city is crumbling around them (and yet they managed to get a 700 million dollar arena approved) Could see a case for them being in the top 10, but not at 4
5) I'll give you this one. Hawks are an interesting team.
6-7) You sort of have to have the bruins and the penguins on the list because (frank) you thats why.
8) Agree with Vancouver. Drama drama drama. Idiot fans. Diving. Epic Playoff collapses.
9) Agreed, but should be higher
10) I find nothing interesting about the Kings at all except that they won the cup as the 8th seed. Not even sure they would exist if it wasn't for the Gretzky trade. |

oh, absolutely.
not that i wouldn't love to have JT, isles fans. he's a fine young player. really starting to show that hype wasn't...well just hype.
i'm gonna enjoy hating your team again. well, thats not fair. always hated them. gonna enjoy having a GOOD REASON to hate your team again.
speaking of which, welcome to the club, Columbus, Washington and Carolina. Washington has had a bit of a head start. |
