I really don't read your work much at all anymore because its crap. It was good when you started out admitting you were just a fan, but now you actually think you're an insider and speak for the rest of us. You are a waste of skin and its pitiful that others take your words as truth of Oilers fans as a whole. You are a joke in the hockey world and everyone knows it. You might be a decent writer but know nothing of the sport and you insult more people than I do get paid for it. You drag down our fanbase as a whole because of it - Ihatebrianburke

So what Cloutier is doing here is completely subjective. He's saying what the most interesting teams in the league are to HIM. Its his personal opinion. We all are entitled to our own opinions.
Now don't get me wrong I have NO problem with this kind of fluff piece. Because to tell you the truth the hockey world is kinda dead and boring right now. Its the middle of summer and there is nothing huge going down (unless you count what is happening with the devils). At least this kind of piece gets us talking and in a heated debate.
I believe we are entitled as readers to politely comment and criticize his list but insulting anything beyond that is really too far. Thats for you ihatebrianburke.

Had the Leafs stayed with the same roster as last season, I would have agreed with him...I still think they're bound to lose out in the 1st round again...but none the less, I think they have improved with their on ice talent...just wonder about the future of their younger guys...Gardiner and Rielly in the coming years may be hard to pay for, even with Phaneuf gone |

So you come here (daily) to tell a guy he is useless and fat? What does that say about you ?..... MORON! Can you inbred idiots do us all a HUGE favor and just GO AWAY!! If you HATE him soo much seriously (frank) OFF! What good does it do to go on a site, read a guys blog (whom you hate), then proceed to comment about how much you hate him? Does it bring a fulfillment to your life? Does it make you feel good about yourself? Or are you just angry that you don't have the skill or talent to get people to read anything you write aside from childish name callings and hate references? So for the benefit of everyone PLEASE PISS OFF!! Don't like it..... Don't read it! Don't agree..... Don't comment! - undisputed_8821
I don't usually read the blogs anymore. I come to shoot the poop with other Oil fans. How can you defend someone that continually makes our fanbase look so bad? |

You have done that on your own tonight buddy, here I'll quote you again from the 1st part of this blog
Sather is the man. Possibly the best GM of all time. If he can trade Gomez for McDonaugh he can do anything. Bookmark it all you want. The sister will not be there next year. - Ihatebrianburke

As mentioned before..... Add your friends on facebook, MSN, email, Google chat, Skype, twitter, Instagram......... WHATEVER! Shoot the poop with them there! The is NO (absolutely 0) NEED for you to come to a guys blog and bash him for NOT writing to YOUR standards! If anything it is people like YOU that make our fanbase look bad NOT Cloutier (who by the way blogs on the fakest of fake hockey sites). Do I really have to point this out to you?? |

I feel the same about the Habs and the Leafs...if they were out of the league tomorrow, I certainly wouldn't care. - annoyance_101
Its all good. If they were out of the league tomorrow, Leafs and Habs would still be engraved on the Stanley Cup. The Canucks, if they left the league tomorrow, would leave no trace of their time in the league. Just saying. |

Yes and look at you, with your opinions...oh right when people bash your opinions...its not ok...but when you bash other opinions...its mighty fine right? I don't value Cloutiers opinions, I come to his threads because I've realized he posts things to get attention...much like you do, you're more like him than you know |

So you think that team full of primadonnas is going to respond well to a hard ass coach like tortorella? The sisters are ufa's and can do whatever they want after the season. They'll jump ship pretty quick after being bashed in the locker room and media by their coach. And Loungo isn't gonna stick around for that crap either. He's demanded a trade before and will again. Go ahead. Double book mark it this time. |

Does anyone know why they traded him? Does anyone know why they accepted such a lousy return?
I thought i might as well respond to Cloutier's question here. I think the obvious answer is that Bobby Ryan was going to be a free agent soon and he was probably going to walk.
Scratch that definitely going to walk.
Its a smart decision economically: When you have teams like Detroit, Ottawa, Philadelphia, etc supposedly wanting to trade for you then you know you can make a ton as a free agent. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't sign an extension and left Ottawa after his contract his up (little bit of bias as a hopeful flyers fan ).
As for what they got in return, well yeah its weak and they probably should of found another deal but obviously they didnt want to risk him leaving for nothing. |
