Thank you, and others, for the kind words of welcome! I recently purchased tickets to opening day for my girlfriend's birthday, though secretly they were a present for me. And it's always Carter's fault. My cousin knows the family who owns the Sea Isle house next door to his and actually borrowed a life jacket from Carter. She said she's never seen a better looking human being in her life. I was disgusted.
Not really, I loved Carts when he was here. But I love Couturier and Voracek even more. - TobyFlenderson
I used to work at a restaurant he frequented. He was a really nice guy. He's a bit stand offish because he's shy. I think people often took that the wrong way.
I'm glad you did the reverse birthday gift. Women have been taking advantage of this for years. It's nice to see a guy do it. |

I really hope at the very least (if they don't re-sign Gagne) the Flyers give Scott Laughton his 9 games. If he made the NHL roster out of an abbreviated training camp last year, who knows what he could do with a full length one this time around. He also took his demotion back to Oshawa last year as motivation and was one of the best players in the OHL. He likely would've put up nice offensive numbers (he was still above a PPG) if it wasn't for suspensions. If they decide to keep him up on the big club, I hope they try him out on Hall or Couturier's left wing, assuming those are your third and fourth line centers.
Sorry for the intrusion, I'm a 2 year "lurker" who came across this site when I started my internship. I decided to register this summer and couldn't help myself from commenting today because I'm a huge advocate of Scott Laughton playing in the NHL next season. - TobyFlenderson

Well if Gagne's back, that moves Talbot down to the 4th line, so it's either Laughton or Hall. If that's the case, I'd definitely prefer the 9-game tryout, and see how he (and the team) do. - jmatchett383

You only say that because of your undying love of Keith Primeau, always going on and on about how he's the greatest Flyers' captain ever, despite everyone arguing against it. |

My fiancé once sent me a text while I was at school that she had an unbelievable night planned for my birthday and it was something I have always wanted. She kept making it seem sexual so even though I knew it wasn't a threeway with one of her hot friends, I still couldnt stop thinking "Hey maybe it is!!"
When I got home she had cooked me a whole incredible meal (She never cooks) and invited a bunch of my friends over to watch football, drink beer and hangout.
It was still good, but....well you know. |

You should have gone over to one of you friends and been all, "Look dude, I was really expecting a threeway tonight, so, I mean, if you're down..."
Also, if (Odin willing) my wife ever offers that, I know who it would be with, and...Goddamn! |

You can never ask for it, but you want to make it clear that if that option ever presents itself, you would be interested. |

It's a valid concern. But Laughton will be the top center this year with the Generals. Hopefully he'd be fired up to prove the Flyers wrong for keeping him in the OHL - Jsaquella

Hall is spare parts and can be sent down w/ not effect on the cap...if he's claimed so be it......no one wanted him last year as he bounced around.....he's the guy we yo-yo up and down b/c he has no value other than 3-4 line center fill-in....a dime a dozen |

I would LOVE to ask Snider how "Hands on" he is when it comes to team personnel and management. Does he every make player personnel decisions? (Bryz) - jak521
When he puts his hands on you and tosses you, you'll know. |
