Who do you guys think will wear the cycling "A" along with Hartnell, as the home or away alternate? Or will Hartnell just wear it all the time? Personally I'd like to see Simmonds get it.
Sorry for the almost pointless question, since Briere's gone I just wanted to see what you guys or girls thought. And it's Monday. |

I think the A's should be Timonen and Vinny.
Or just give the C and both A's to Hall, as he's clearly important enough to impact who can and cannot play in the NHL. |

I was hoping they give the C to Jay Rosehill. It would stand for "Car-Thief". |

I'd be ok with this, though I would not mind the four slots (2 home, 2 away) given to Gagne, Hartnell, Lecavalier, & Timonen. |

Possibly Talbot instead of Gags considering its not a given he's on the team. |

"To suck, or not to suck, that is the question:
Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer
The Slings and Arrows of Philadelphia fans,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of Panaccios,
And by opposing be bought out: to die, to sleep
No more; and by a sleep, to say we end
The soft-goals, and the thousand Natural shocks
That turnovers are heir to?"

Ok Flyersgrace... Would you play for a lingrie hockey league?
Give new meaning to slap shot, faceoff, high stick, and 5 hole.... - youarewrong
Have you ever broken a bone?
If so you'd know this answer.
I've been told split lips are sexy. However black eyes and broken bones are not.
And besides ice splinters friggin hurt. Could you imagine a woman who had Hartnell's issue of staying on his skates? Her behind would be bright red...
In reality they'd probably all just stay huddled in the middle of the ice for warmth...
No appeal sorry...

I'd like to add Gags too. Gags on the 3rd line would be a perfect fit. |

Hartnell as the A would be fine. He's like your fun uncle who you love to hang out with but you would never want to be your parent. |

I've met extremely closed-minded prejudiced people who used pretty offensive language. But never a militant "we need to exterminate them" type. |

I wanna be that guy.
Sadly, I'm an only child, my wife's siblings don't want to have kids/aren't married, and my wife's pregnant. So every one else gets to be that guy. |

I caught every single one of Mason's starts as a flyer last season and I have a question for all of you. Was Steve Mason better than Ilya Bryzgalov? Did Mason out play Bryzgalov? My response is that I didn't see enough starts from Mason to say that he did. I'm not even positive even with Bryzgalov gone that Mason will be our starter. He could end up being next summer's joke.
Next question. How good of a season did Claude Giroux have this part season? |

I think Hartnell and Timonen wear an A during home games. Vinny and Gagne at away games?
My honest answer is Hartnell is a clown and inwould give one to Vinny over Hartnell all season long. |

I think Mason's athletic attributes suit this Flyers (lack of) defense better than Bryzgalov's. Bryzgalov is good when he can be square to the shooter and get a clean look at it. However, his side-to-side movement is sad (glove save on Letang being an outlier). Mason, on the other hand, is much more athletic, and will give you more "highlight reel" types of saves, but doesn't take up as much net as Bryz. So for a team constantly giving up oddman rushes, you'd prefer Mason.
Giroux didn't have a great season, but none of the Flyers shy of Voracek did, offensively. But he still had those moments where he could just will his team to a win (the Washington OT win). I think with some more offensive depth and a healthy line, he'll be better. |
