Yeah, I misunderstood it when I read it, went back and said, Crap - Jsaquella
Well, at least you tried. Reading the CBA would put me to sleep |

And it's pretty normal to have to read something multiple times to grasp what is being said.

Bo took copious notes and will write a blog.
I was actually really impressed with the event. I thought every person ( Lukko & Tilger, Homer, Lava, Ron Mutha(frank)in Hextall and Chris Pryor( in that order )) were really patient and genuine in their answers. Homer had to deal with a few dopes hahaha. I hit Lava with a tough question and he shed some light on his thought process and some tweaks he's going to install |

If the Flyers end up keeping Gagne, combined with the re-signing of Hall, the waters are more cloudy than a flat statement saying that the Flyers expect him to make the roster.
I disagree that playing in a limited 4th line role is better than playing more minutes in the OHL. This isn't a kid that has proven that he can flat out dominate the OHL. If he had shown that, I'd agree wholeheartedly that he'd be better served in the NHL.
The other aspect, or elephant in the room, is that Laviolette could be under the gun if they start slow, which means he might decide to roll the vets to give his team a better shot to win and save his own neck, at the expense of Laughton's development. - Jsaquella
Wow, I couldn't agree more.
I believe this team. I believe in the coaching, management and I believe players. This is a season to contend, not develop. Go out and get Timonen that Cup. |

I agree wholeheartedly. Read and react, not just go-go-go! Happy medium between Tortorella and Laviolette. Which adds up to Quenneville and Julien!

Good coach, but every time I see him I think he looks like Homer Simpson.

I've agreed with just about every post of yours in the last few days (especially the EA Sports NHL series making an all-time all-stars version of their game). As with your earlier posts in this thread, well said.

For anyone who says Giroux had a down year:
Kurt @Kurt_BSH
Claude Giroux: faces stronger defensemen (by TOI) than literally any player in hockey, scores a point per game, has a Down Year. #LRT - Jsaquella
What stat measures that? |

Nope, he's right. The CBA only mentions playing less than ten games in the first year of the SPC. Good job Homer. - Jsaquella

Giroux routinely went up against the defensemen playing the most minutes for opposing teams, which usually means the other team's best defensemen, and still managed to average a PPG on a team that couldn;t move the puck out of it's own end with ease. |

I was a kid on another side of the ocean watching for the first time big bad Flyers beating the heck out of Red Army Club (thou it really was combination of teams - they took few best players from other clubs). And then they pulled Russian team off the rink. It was around 2 o'clock at night, but I was waiting... Then Russian commentator (Nikolai Ozerov) said that president NHL and club owner came in the locker room, apologizing profusely and the game will continued. Of course as everybody remember, there was no game after that...Many years later I met Mr. Snider and we talked about this game. I told him what was said and he just laughed. He said:"All I said No Play no pay.." I enjoyed Clarke and Lindros and now G but after that conversation my hero was Ed Snider |

So, wait: Can or can't Laughton get a 9-game (or 4-game) tryout this year? I totally lost track of what people were agreeing on. |
