Once again Cloutier proves why he's the biggest joke on Hockeybuzz. He's been right about the placement of certain teams on both lists, but the patronizing way he goes about it makes it almost unreadable. As he even admits at the beginning, he's doing nothing but trolling for hits and comments (which makes me regret posting this). He's one of the most ill-informed, narcissistic hacks I've ever read. The way he talks about everyother franchise you'd think the Oilers had won the last 30 Cups and the rest of the league is garbage. I mean Edmonton is the most interesting team?! All their prospects/players are untouchable? No other franchise knows what they're doing? Gimme a break, homer.
If anyone thinks this guy understands the sport he covers you should stop watching hockey. |

My goodness, no Predator replies? Okay, I'll give you one Richard. I'm glad you qualified your comments by basically saying this was based on nothing. Having Nashville at the top for least interesting is...well...interesting. Only because the Predators are THE only team in hockey that even matters. There...that's all the venom I could muster. |

Drouin is our only prospect ? Lightning have one of the best if not the best prospect pools in the league ...
Holy duck man get a clue, this is why you don't blog about teams you know nothing about : you come across as an idiot |

Have fun not making the playoffs again and then RFA's start walking... Edmonton. Oil belongs in a barrel or under the dirt, just like your team. Katz might as well move them to Seattle already. - MisterC

This is why I don't venture to far from Michaels blogs. Not much knowledge of the Ligtnin out there.
He has a right to his opinion, but we should have the right to call him out on it. |

I find it funny how non-Oiler fans are coming in here complaining that an Oilers blogger would call the Oilers the most interesting team. If he was more interested in another team, wouldn't he be a fan of that other team?
Then they say how much more interesting their team is than the Oilers. (frank)ing gold! |

Also, I think after this year Columbus should let Gaborik walk, package Tyutin and Dubinsky for a top pairing dman, and sign the Sedins.

Here comes the Hall vs. Nash discussion - NYI44
Theres nothing to discuss. Nash is with the crosbys, the datsyuks, the malkins, the tavares', and the ovechkins...then theres the toewes, kanes, getzlafs, and stepans, and then maybe hall slots in 2 or 3 tiers under them. |

Trust me, this is an oilers blog. There will be a discussion. Did you see the Tavares vs. hall discussion. |

Strongly disagree with Colorado being on the list. They have great young talent and with Roy and Sakic calling the shots thy are in my top 5 of teams that I will be watching at the beginning of this year.
Have similar feelings about Columbus. They made some really nice moves last year, made a great stretch run that just fell short and I will keeps tabs on them as well.
Agree with the "boring" Rangers designation. They are the anti Columbus. Made a bunch of bad moves down the stretch (except for the Newfoundlander which they did not resign) and, generally, performed way below their media credentials. Rick Nash best represents the Rangers. He scores beautiful goals on magnificent rushes in losing games. Boring! No accident, it is not coincidental, but, the fates of the Rangers and Columbus turned in magical synchronicity with each other.
In my books it makes Columbus interesting and the Rangers tedious. |

It is obviously Taylor Hall because Nash had 42 points while Hall had 50 - NYI44
You sure are obsessed with Hall. Is he your favourite? |

Best player ever? No. Best player in the league today? No. Best forward even? No, not as long as Crosby is still skating with his head on his shoulders. But best power forward winger today? Yes,.absolutely. |

I guess you'll get a little glimpse during the preseason and then see him actually try and totally blow hall out of the water during all our boring team's nationally broadcasted games, outdoor games, and rags vs oil games. |

Nash is a very good player, that's not what I am trying to say. But, he didn't scare me as much when he touched the puck as opposed to Gaborick. Every time the isles played the rangers, I would get nervous when Gaborick had the puck. I don't feel the same way about Nash (I am going by last year only). |
