Wait till you find out that Emery's hip issues is highly contagious. Both Emery and Mason are done.

Seriously. Before Forsberg came to the Flyers, did anybody hear about his foot issues? I sure wasn't aware of it!

I cant remember.. that feels like an eternity ago. Flyers seriously have terrible injury luck.

Oh, and for the record.. Tim McCrossin is still the trainer.. Coincidence?

It IS a stupid (frank)ing game.

Christ, give ME the greens fees and you can sit in my backyard and drive a cart around and drink beer till you fall over.

Because that's the only appeal of golf. Otherwise, enjoying that sport is sadistic, and I can't help you.

I'm so mad right now I can't see straight. (frank).

I've played. I know how expensive and ridiculous it all is.

Only the Flyers have a guy who needs surgery and 6 weeks off after playing golf.

I want to go kick a puppy or something.

Upon hearing the news, Rinaldo did this. He's out 3 months with a broken foot.

I agree... it's un f ing believable that this happened.. How in God's name does your club explode basically sending shards of grafite shaft into your hand cutting you?

I'm guessing it was not a golf swing activity...more like a bad shot and golf club slam activity.

""I think I'll really be able to get back to doing things in 2 to 3 weeks," Giroux said. "I will be able to skate, and get in skating shape, but I won't be able to be lifting any weights for a while."

A full 6 weeks would peg Giroux' return around Sept. 26, meaning he could be in the lineup for their final preseason tuneup in Washington on Sept. 27.

Giroux played all 48 games during last year's lockout shortened campaign, though he did have surgery on both wrists last offseason to repair ligaments. He suffered a neck injury in November in Germany while waiting out the lockout. He finished with 47 points.

Giroux, 25, is entering the final year of his 3-year, $11.25 million deal, his second as the captain. He signed a max-term, 8-year, $66.2 million extension with the Flyers on July 5.

"This is more frustrating than you even know," Giroux said. "I really feel like this was my best summer of training I've had so far. I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life. This really isn't a big deal, though. Something like this isn't going to hold me back."

McCrossin should have inspected Giroux's golf clubs for wear and tear!

Therein lies the problem... Last off season he was so busy inspecting golf clubs that half the team got injured from their own wear and tear. He reversed his course this off season, stopped inspecting golf clubs, and now because of that decision... G is out for the year.

Is this before or after Jay Rosehill got injured after staging bum fights near Atlantic City?

Technically... Rosehill's "injury" occurred after the staged bum fights ended.. He was cleaning up the street (so as not to incur a littering fine) and happened to pick up and inevitably be wienered by a dirty needle... I heard that his HEP C remedy is helping though. He put back on 12 of the 36 lbs he lost.

EDIT: HAHAH wienered! Pr!cked!

Why couldn't it have been Rosehill hurt with a (frank)ing golf club?

Or Riley Cote. Anyone but (frank)ing Claude Giroux.

Ugh.
