And like most people who make assumptions and false judgments based on those assumptions, sooner or later, you'll get a clearer picture of the person or circumstance you are so clearly misunderstanding. When that happens, you'll be proven wrong, but guys like you are way too insecure to admit when you're wrong, so you'll either disappear or pick a different victim.

2. The guys who write for Copper 'n' Blue haven't exactly been nice to me, but they've treated others with absolute arrogance along the way too. I think if you take a long, hard look you'd discover they are more or less just hockey fans like I am. Or to word this another way, If someone who is legitimately connected like Bob Stauffer said on air that I was some ass-clown, I could accept it, because he's actually someone in the know. But when Derek or Ryan treat me like garbage, it's embarrassing for them. Thankfully they haven't "called me out" in a long time, but some of the constant negativity I read on Twitter from the CnB site gets to me after a while.

3. I'm actually a tremendously good news writer, and I suspect there will come a point when I move from hockey blogs into working as a full-time journalist focusing on political stuff. It might be hard for you to wrap your head around this, but I have take different approaches to different types of work. For my "day" job I get paid to interview people, to investigate, and to write stories that are informative and newsworthy. If I had a press pass for the Oilers and was paid a full-time salary to cover the team like a reporter, you'd be reading very different blogs. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for...so what you get with me here is a funny guy who writes opinion pieces referencing the best information that is easily available.

The really sad thing about me explaining all of this to you is that you're smart enough to get what I'm saying, but you just won't because hubris rules you. Maybe I'm wrong, and you're just an incredibly good blog troll. But if that's the case, I feel incredibly sad for you, because your life must be so completely empty to have stuck with this for so long.

Sometimes I wish mods would step in because I think people go at me in completely inappropriate ways in blog comments, and it makes the site look bad. In your case, I wish they'd ban you from the site permanently because you embarrass yourself with your obvious envy, self-loathing and ignorance. I care about Hockeybuzz...I defend the site constantly and I promote the hell out of it no matter where I am or who I'm talking to. It makes me sad to think that we need your patronage when all you are capable of is venom.
