I really want to know what exactly the Flyers had to promise to the devil in order to win a cup.
It feels like the last 40 years has been one major injury after another... after another... after another...
We lost Lindros, Primeu (sp), Pronger, Lappy, Hatcher, and had a guy give up the ability to make children in the past 13 years.
That's not even including the cup runs we should have had but didn't get to have because of injuries. Like to Desjardin years ago.
I'd say it gives young guys a chance to step up and showcase themselves... but we've almost run out of players with a projection in the NHL.

Btw not to toot my own horn but I mentioned durability during my ill-famed "rip the flyers offseason to shreds rant" a couple months ago in regards to the overpaint to giroux. I hope this doesn't linger and I hope the luck changes.

My hands went over my mouth and I gasped and said "oh no" when I read about Lappy.
That (frank)in sucks. I actually want to cry for this guy.
Yeah, G is my favorite Flyer and I'm bummed for his injury but this news about Lappy trumps it by far.
