Winning a Cup in 2009 is kind of recent isn't it? - PLindbergh31
Ya 5 year grace period isn't there, but I guess everybody expects more with Crosby and Malkin there. |

He didnt just "cut" his finger.
He did damage to tendons that needed surgical revision. - jak521

I thought the police report showed that a man in a red suit was putting banana peels onto the highway, causing Voracek's car to spiral out of control and crash into a pole.

So we should be beating the crap out of you for our most recent injuries as the Flyers god?
Good to know...

Pretty easy to put down the "Blue Shell" theory--as the "blue shell" only strikes those in first place. |

Not that I think it'll end this way, but if the Crosby and Malkin era yields only one Cup, I'd consider that underwhelming.
Of course, these guys are still young, and I think we'll suffer at least one more Penguins cup under them. |

Can I ask why he will miss training camp over a cut finger? Didn't Renberg get 20 or so stiches to the face and play in the same game? - youarewrong
It's more then just a cut finger. He had to have surgery. |

You can still skate and work out with a hand injury. No need to miss camp because of it. Just dont take part in drills. |

Skating, yes. The workouts, maybe not. If he sliced a tendon or whatever (I'm not a doctorman like Jak), he probably wants to let it be so it can heal as fast as possible.

I have good news on the Flyers front. Rosehill has been studying the art of the "Super Punch" this off season under the tutelage of this guy!

I'm somewhat amazed. Chicago has won two of the last four Stanley Cups and yet Pittsburg's top five is ranked ahead of them. I understand they have two of the best players in the world and are consistently favored to win it all, however, I believe their weaknesses have been exposed by both Boston and Philadelphia and quite frankly, what have they done lately? - JACOCKS
Pittsburgh is top heavy, talent wise. Chicago is much deeper.
