PRV sucks ass.
Pilgor was right. I hate admitting that. But he sucks.
You also suck as a fan. Oilers are gonna compete. - robin_steele264
I do suck as a fan. Which is why I find it funny when people think I use selective stats to prove how good EDM is.
I think they've sucked. Their 5 on 5 play has been atrocious.
Although I think they're a good coach(could be eakins), a #1LHD(could eventually be Klefbom or Nurse), and a cleaned up bottom 6 from being a playoff team |

PRV career high is 15 goals.
That's his entire hockey career.
He blows. Perron was a win for the Oilers no matter how you slice it

Great. Just doesn't do anything like hit, check or score.

just looking at the feature blogs, I immediately lose interest.
Maybe I should find a video of a small man running on a blender to maniac to lure readers. |

I agree. I think some Oilers fans have fallen too much in love with potential and forgotten that results>potential.

Richard Cloutier: Goodbye and Good Luck - Maxbone
Unlike some people who came on this site just to ridicule you and make life in gereral for you, I came here because I enjoyed what you had to write. I thought what you provided was always entertaining. Not once did you ever say you were an expert in all things hockey. Yet people continuously took things out of context and called you names. Shame on them. I will miss your blogs immensely. I just hope one of the name callers and sex experts that ridiculed you constantly takes over and writes some blogs. It will be a pleasure to give them the same treatment they gave you. Good luck in your future endeavors. |

his entire 3 year career to date.
Also perron's concussion issues? Missed like 97 games to a concussion.
I won't be happy with the trade til I see how good Perron is in EDM and how good MPS is in STL |

PRV was a bust. I was hoping he'd somehow turn good, but it seemed like the opposite was happening

Not nhl career... His hockey career.
He has no hands, crappy shot, no physical element to his game.
The guy sucked dude.

Don't hate the trade. Just not 100% happy with it.
STL was in a hole and EDM helped them completely out of it. Perron for MPS straight across and I'm a happy camper. Just don't see why EDM payed full price when STL was about to be up against the cap. Maybe another team was offering a lot for him. Who knows. But I'm a little b*tch, so let me b*tch about it |

Traded a bust and a 2nd for a 25 year old 50 point top 6 forward.
Wtf more do you want?

not worth a 10th overall pick, but I think he'll be a top 6 forward eventually so not a bust
I think confidence was a big issue that began to be solved. He had 0p in his first 8GP that came from a lack of confidence and being placed on the 4th line. 16P in the next 34GP was pretty good |

I don't get how anyone can judge a trade (especially a summer one) before an appropriate amount of games have been played. There's always the chance a once cast-off player could thrive in a new system. See Joffrey Lupul. Granted the other guy did say he wants to see how the players turn out. |

STL was in a hole and EDM helped them completely out of it while improving their own situation. Perron for MPS straight across and I'm a happy camper. Fixed. When you trade to improve your team, don't give a rats ass if it benefits the other guy. if you can screw them great, but in the post-Milbury and Sutter NHL, there are not a lot of fleece jobs to be had. The pick was included because of the uncertainty about MPS. |

well if you think that lowly of MPS then it was a good deal.
again, don't hate the deal. Just don't understand why they paid full price. Although there is a lot I don't know that could have been happening between STL and other teams. |
