I'm the same. I only read it when Reveen posts a link.
You're right though , he couldn't handle it. That ego maniac thought he was a shepherd and his 'readership' were the sheep. When in all honesty, most of the Oilers fans , his 'readership' were more like his 'don't give a sh1t', just there for the thread and the posters. I think he took 1000 comments as a personal achievement most times.

Little did he know that 90% of the regulars hardly read the blogs....just way more into bullpoopting about retarded poop on the thread. He did invite mass amounts of trolls though,which contributed to his hit count. Not exactly fans of his though.

From my understanding the hit counts came from the posts...and that not only did you contribute a hit with every post and visit to read the posts, but every refresh of the page (and the page refreshes itself).

That was all third hand info I was given and not even sure how reliable but it seemed to fit.

I actually went back and read a bunch of the boo-hoo's when this thread was originally posted. Haven't seen a lot of those guys on the Oilers boards for a loooong time...except Oilers 42.
