If Yost got his account hacked and he's still not posting anything, what's to say that allot of people on this site could have had their personal information compromised? The Yost affair needs clarification, on what the hackers where after, what was deleted and the reason why a hockey blog, specifically one blogger, was targeted.

I say sign them both now. I doubt if both guys get an AAV of 5M each, but lets say they do at best, that would put the Leafs at around 70M (less than 10% over), then it means they need to shed >6M. Keep in mind these are max amounts. Liles makes 3.875 so moving him alone would be damn close depending on what each player signed.

Additionally, they can offer them higher payouts in the 3rd-4th-5th years like we saw with Henrique thus lowering the AAV.

Leafs should sign Kadri for 8 years at 6m/yr, why mess around when you can lock the best player in the NHL for 8 years, compared to Crosby his contract would be a sweet deal
