From reports Bozak wanted 5 also..since Kadri does not have any leverage, he wont get that and if he chose to sit instead of play for less (3-4) thats just idiotic, and I dont see that happening.

If Nonis didnt put the leafs in such a tight spot I think it would be easy to give him 4milx6 years, its a risk but should be good value in years 3-6.

Franson could easily be getting a contract like 4x4 or 4x6years also, based on all that has happened so far with FA/RFA.

Nonis really only has a couple options, play hard ball and force a low deal on both, and maybe piss off a couple of his best assets for the future or find a dance parter for Liles to pay Kadri/Franson a fair contact

Henrique got 6 X 4m...which is very different from 5 X 4.5m. The Devils locked up at least 2 UFA years. If you're only gonna lock up 1 UFA year why bother?
