Are there better players ahead of him, Absolutely. but do you want five right handers in your lineup? I think that would be a huge mistake. He was exceptional last season. And I think he deserves a better look or atleast more credit for his achievments.

Problem is he's not extremely flashy from what I've seen so might be hard to grab their attention, we'll see what happens under Torts.

Wrong and wrong. Clarkson and Bernier are not the problem. The major issue was Liles should of been complianced buyout and komisarek normal buyout. Leaving us with more than enough cap left to sign kadri and franson even if we had to send guys down to the marlies to have even more cap.

well my point is the team doesnt need to be entirely flashy. Its about taking the best assets of each players game and using it to help a team win. I swear Ive seen tsn every night for the last two weeks so im not sure how I missed it because I think hes very talented and needs a decent look.

Almost as bad mismanagement as the lame Nucks. Leafs should NEVER of paid Clarkson that kinda dough....they are just NOT close ebuf to being a real contender....that is the kind of move to make when you looking for that last piece.

They should have been leaving a couple million in CAP space...address the center situation for all 4 lines, and get their defense in order. Goalies look set for next few years....now work on the "core" 3-4 forwards and 2-3 stud d-men.

This is a rather irrelevant arguement. Liles could still play on this team and contribute. Komi couldnt. While Liles has longer term, the problem with our cap is this season not next season. If we would have bought out Liles and kept Komi, then would have close to about a million less cap space this season.

Explain to me how Nonis is a moron for not managing this seasons cap by buying out the guy who makes more this season? In addition to that, there is a hope and chance Liles can be traded at some point and bring at least a pick back in return, a hope that didn't exist with Komi.

We have solid role forwards in Kuli, mcclement and bolland. Colbourne could make the jump this year and Ranger (if regains form) will be big plus for us. So in answering this I'm lead to believe you have no idea what you are talking about or you re just trolling.
