exactly what would someone have to be on to suggest that Iginla as slow as he is would be an asset on bigger ice?
cant wait until the season starts and he starts ripping on him. |

Yeah they absolutely suck. What's the stupid rt 66 sign logo. The white jersey looks like a soccer jersey. These things uber suck |

Doubtful. He has been consistent for almost all of his career and for once has a real center dishing him the puck. Way better option than grossly overpaying for Clarkson or Horton.

yeah, just like he was in pitt... he was non existent...
and about grossly overpaying, why? just because neither signed with your team it is grossly overpaying? the last time i looked, both signed for less than what the bruins are paying for a guy that was good 5yrs ago. |

The contract for Iginla is bonus based so it may not be 6 mil. Also its a 1 year deal. They're not married to him. Also have you seen Horton's deal? You're telling me CBJ did not both overpay him and signed him up too long, with his streakiness, injury history and he will miss a large chunk of this season? Both Clarkson and Horton were not possible for the Bruins due to the cap anyway. |

Iginla had 12 points in 15 playoff games with the Penguins, and that takes into account the entire team being shut down for 4 games by the Bruins. Iginla shares the blame but it would be silly to judge the Penguins players forever because they couldn't score for four games. |

Perfectly fine when you apply butt-hurt Torontroll logic. |

He can earn 6m, they only gave him 1.8M...if he hits everything he needs to hit to earn 6m, it will be a steal of a deal - DDM-Coga
look again, his big bonus is playing 10 games. Play 10 games and he is over 5 |

Ty Anderson: Was Iginla snubbed by Team Canada? - tyanderson
ummmm,I think if you watch any of the the playoffs you would see that Iginla is WAY past his expiry date.
I've never seen one player get steamrolled (while completely flat-footed) that many times in so few games.
I'm surprised he's still alive |

Ty Anderson: Was Iginla snubbed by Team Canada? - tyanderson
Jerome Iginla has been the best player on a crappy Flames team for along time, even with his numbers being down and his age getting higher. I also feel Iglina today is better then Lucic. There is no harm in an invite. Iginla didn't look very good with the Pens but I feel a lot of that bad to do with him being a role player for the first time in his career. He may not make team Canada this season but I feel he'll absolutely impress in Boston. |

Many speak without having their facts straight. You my friend couldn't be more right. It's easier to to talk someone down, then to build a player up. The penguins flat out were terrible as a whole by the time they made it to the third round. |
