Yeah, not quite.

Canadians are getting rattled because USA hockey has improved in the last 20 years or so.

Besides, last time I checked--from 1962 to 1993--Canada didn't win a single gold medal in the World Championships.

Yeah good one. The point you made here that was relevant was the fact USA hockey has improved over the last 20 years.

but for fun lets do this you said Canada didn't win a Gold medal from 62-93 at the world championship...true.

i'll give you some stats/info
from 94 to present Canada has won 5 Gold 4 silver and 1 bronze at the world championships and that's not even sending our best players due to NHL playoffs.

the U.S in that same time span has 0 Gold, 0 Silver, and 3 Bronze.

Canada Has 24 Gold Medals at the World Championships....USA None.

USA actually has two--1933 and 1960.

The Czech's have 6 since 1996.

my bad. missed them. so I guess that's good news for you then the U.S is now only 22 Gold medals behind Canada at the World Championships.

The Czechs have 6... so whats your point did they have American players on the roster?

Check NHL.com and find the percentage of Czech born players in the NHL and then do the same thing with USA born and Canadian born. There is a greater possibility of the Czechs having the majority of their top players as opposed to Canada and the U.S.

My point was the Czechs had more gold medals than Canada did during that time period.

Listen, if you're going to post facts, make sure that they're actually true.
