I think they would rather work with the players on the ice than do a show to the fans. It sucks for us, but it might be better off for the development.

Can't really complain though, I'm lucky to have Junior hockey 5 minutes from home

They used to participate, but they decided to stop a few years ago. I remember that there used to be lots of fighting in those games, and management probably didn't see the point of playing in that tournament anymore. They preferred to have their own camp and work on development instead.

It's a bad practice for the Habs, losing their only advantage (being too small to be seen) because they are playing against kids not yet fully grown.

Notes out of rookie camp is that Andrighetto is really looking good. Bournival is working hard and not making many mistakes and Leblanc is impressive. Any truth to this. Anyone else impressive or a let down so far?

Yup. I got to see one of the shoot out locations. They had the building all done up with "Free Detroit" Now it's an RBC I think.
