have you tried playing a round driving with your 3 wood instead and using only the driver on par 5's with lots of space on the left side? Might shed a few strokes

Bought an R11 one this year and have started using it a bit more. I like it, but I still love to get up there and rip it with the driver.

I got used to the three wood after a while - R7. But I never hit it off the tee. If not a driver, then maybe a rescue or something.

I have the R11 driver and 3 wood. I am much more accurate with my 3 wood, I'd say 90% in the fairway instead of 50-60% with the driver. I still get a good 250-260 with the 3 wood on average with the odd 270+ hit. Shaved a few strokes off my score card on average this year.
