Oh, gotcha. Honestly haven't been paying too much attention. Canada is going to be a fun team to watch no matter how those lines play out. - Cptmjl
Burnside on ESPN.com predicts the US to take gold, funny since he is Canadian.
Interesting how neither North American team has medalled on a larger ice surface in some absurd amount of time (Im not sure of the exact timeframe, anyone else?).
With the games being in Russia, writers have that team to at least medal. Personally, I think they have a sick group of forwards but their D is nothing special at all and if Nabby is in net...well, see NYI vs PIT.
US has the best goaltending in the tournament and a nasty group of forwards and D. Not sure if I see them winning gold but at least a medal IMO. The goaltending will have to be what it is capable of to take that gold. |

I'm sure Crosby will be taking that spot on the 1st line. I see JT either second or 3rd line center which is fine on that squad - Vukota
There's also talk that JT could move to wing....imagine:

Seems that rumors are swirling over in Russia that Nabby might be pulling a Kovalchuk!
Here is his response to that rumor and what he believes is in store for the Isles during this coming season.
There seems to be a bit of arrogance in some of his answers. I like his aggressiveness.

I'm getting there. Truth be told I'm in football mode at the moment, but I'm plenty ready to see what the Isles are going to do! God I love when October rolls around!

Wish I liked another sport. Can't stomach basketball. The only thing I like about football is eating wings and drinking beer. I can maybe sit through an inning or two tops of baseball. Can't wait for hockey |

I was once a big MLB fan. Especially a Mets fan. Now I just check the scores.
Back in the day. I was a big Nets fan. Anyone remember the Island Garden in Hempstead? I watched Rick Barry put up 50 points 5 rows behind the net for $5.00. But Now I Havent watched a full game in over 30 yrs.
Now its all Hockey and Football. Although I'm not ashamed to say I'm a JETS fan it is getting harder every yr to watch that circus.
Being a life long Packers fan has helped me get thru watching the Jets.
I'm stoked to watch the Isles this season. Although I think it will be tougher to make the PO's this yr. I think we will see some really great hockey from the Isles.
Looking forward to seeing Strome & Nelson make a run @ the team.

Pesci was great in that roll.
But IMO his best works came when he played the Comedian.
My Cousin Vinnie
Home Alone I & II
The Lethal Weapon Series. And even "The Super". Although not one of his best.
Pesci always leaves me in stiches
Not to take anything away from him and his other movies. Goodfellas and Casino were Classics. I've watched them over and over. |

Do you have a THREE HEADED COIN?
I think it all depends on camp performances. |

Goodfellas is one of those movies that if I find it on TV whatever I had plan for the next few hours just seems to not get done, sucks me in everytime! Love that movie!! |

Yea these new guys coming up have really got me excited!! I also wanted to see Lee in more then just the two games he got last year. If he finds his game a the pro-level he too could be a great player to have! |

He really needs to work on his skating but he could be a nice surprise next year or the following. It was pretty awesome that he scored a goal in his first NHL game. |
