Goodfellas is one of those movies that if I find it on TV whatever I had plan for the next few hours just seems to not get done, sucks me in everytime! Love that movie!!

It was pretty cool while watching the movie having him give personal details about this uncle and that uncle. Family dinners and holidays. Real details.

He also worked at Kennedy.

One day, I'm working in my garage and he stops by with Power Tools.

Pesci was great in that roll.

But IMO his best works came when he played the Comedian.

Loved My Cousin Vinny. Great movie. always had a boner for Marisa Tomei. She still looks incredible. I think Pesci plays the villan and his comedic roles extremely well. Casino and Godfellas to me were his best movies. He does the sociopath mobster pretty damn good.

The first thing I noticed about MacDonald when I saw him at Ice Works four years ago is that he was slow- too slow, I thought, to play in the NHL. I'm guessing that has improved, needless to say, but it's probably why he doesn't bring the offense to the table that he did in the minors. In the NHL, he has to stay in position, or else he'll get lit up on a regular basis. I figure that as long as he can play defense, he's a solid number four on a decent team, and that's good enough, IMO.

I don't think he's a solid #4 on last years team let alone a decent team. He's slow, lacks physical strength, gets bullied in the corners etc etc. I don't want him any higher than a bottom pairing guy.

He is a good 5/6 IMO. If they want to sign him instead of making a serious run at some FA's this year to give the kids some more time it should be for no more than 2 years. I have no idea why/how some Islander fans think he's a legit second pairing or God forbid first? Complete crazy talk. Like they forgot what a real defensman looks like or maybe they heard Goring say how good he was and actually believed it?

He really needs to work on his skating but he could be a nice surprise next year or the following. It was pretty awesome that he scored a goal in his first NHL game.

Absolutely was one of the worst goals I've seen but pretty cool none the less

yeah so I teased an article about the goalie under the most pressure for tomorrow...due to my current blood alcohol level and the fact i'm going to two roads brewery at noon..we are going to conclude our series on Monday...if I offend anyone with this info I sincerely apologize..
