Maybe they go to colorado for forward prospects or a pick. I am not sure. I do think there is a deal here. Colorado is paying their third line center a lot of money. Edmonton their third line winger the same and Buffalo their backup goalie. Miler is not Buffalo's starter anymore. - Hall Fan
But we are already sending them McNabb.
Miller is the starter until he is traded. |

O'Reilly is playing left wing this season with Duchene by the way, I will rather spend 5m cap hit on him as a winger rather the 5.5m on Hemsky as a winger. |

I don't know what I expect from someone in Toronto, (frank) you're stupid. What are the two biggest cities in Alberta? Where do people coming from out of province usually move to in Alberta? Do I need to draw you a (frank)ing picture? - SpoiledByOil

Dubnyk will shut some people up this year (roughly 90% of HB people)
Myers would be nice. - ChetManly
I was expecting him to have an excellent/break out year last year.
Let's hope he does break out this season. |

WHERE DO I SIGN?????? - Buffalo--Sabres
myers is young. hes still got loads of potential. i for one am not interested in trading him. also, hes one of our only right handed d men besides mcbain and psysk. we cant roll with all left handed d men. is he worth the money, no, but we need myers. ristolinen might not even be ready yet this year

no it doesn't.
1. edm doesnt have the space
2. goaltending is probably 4th or 5th on their list of needs
3. dubs is signed to a much better contract
4. dubs actually put up better numbers. at half the price. and with an arguably worse defence. at least comparably bad anyways
5. miller would prob cost a fair amount in a trade. and could walk in a year
6. if edm is gonna give up a good package in a deal, theyd move for a big top 6 winger, a quality 3rd line winger or a top 4 dman, all before another goalie
even if miller is better than dubnyk (he has proven a lot more over his career-dubs is only 26) that deal makes no sense for edm. goaltending is NOT the issue.
do your research bro - hugefemale dog77

I wouldn't. He has some good games but overall, he just isn't good enough, and he's already 27. Miller would be a big upgrade. Dub should be nothing more than a backup. - ...sbs138...
the numbers last season in his first as starter don't back this comment up.
but I guess your opinion Is much more solid than cold hard numbers |

The current oilers team has 0 accomplishments and has never finished higher than the Sabres. But they are better?
The only thing I think that must be better in Edmonton is the crack. - Buffalo--Sabres
I don't know what this has to do with the original debate on why miller doesn't make sense to Edmonton.
first with the Olympic nonsense. and now the buffalo has been better than edm |

how in gods name does dubnyk not making team Canada have any correlation to the myriad of reasons why miller doesn't make sense to edm?
and how does the past 5 years that buf may have finished ahead of edm, only one of which dubs was the starter, (with better numbers than miller I might add) have anything to do with the myriad of reasons why miller doesn't make sense to edm?
your posts just seem to be getting worse and worse
you're taking this all too personally. like it's an affront to miller. it's not. he's proven more of his career thus far than dubnyk, regardless of last years lesser numbers.
but the fact remains the oilers just don't need to deal for miller |
