Lundqvist loves the city . , he is going nowhere. - VANTEL
He def loves NY. But if that team doesnt turn around and get better. He could very like winning alot more. Maybe even a move to the Isle's could be in the future. Theyre growing nicely. And he could basicly stay wheres hes at. Im just saying I think he'd rather be winning than just living in NY. |

The Islanders are a mess outside of Tavares. I would be shocked if he wouldnt laugh at the idea of it. If he wants to win the Cup, the Islanders are one of the last teams he should go to. They have no committment to winning, whatsoever.
I would go to the Oilers if I were him, perhaps even the Lightening. |

Honestly I think they are in the best position of all the young teams. Lots of guys locked up long term and tons of cap. |

Problem is that they have a team budget, so they likely will never spend to the cap, they can't lure UFAs, and aside from Tavares there isn't much there or much that's been developed into top level players. They did make the playoffs though...
Sure they have guys locked up but im not too high on the Baileys, Okposo's etc. Moulson is a fine player, but not sure how much of that is him or Tavares. |

Is nonis on holidays?
Or did Kadri and the leafs decide it would be more fair for rest of the league if he didn't start playing until January? give the rest of the players a decent head start and a chance at the art ross. Or maybe they are resting him for the Olympics? All possibilities!!

I don't think it's right that you suggest Kadri shouldn't be allowed to play until January just because he isn't white like you. |

With how Vancouver mgmt treats their goalies, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Lundqvist demands a trade there before the deadline. |

Ian should write a block about potential trades that the Canucks could get in return for Lundqvist during the 2014/2015 trade deadline. |

What a pointless blog
Lundqvist will never play for Torts again
Sure, he is being a professional and saying nice things about former coaches.
However, he has made it clear that he wants a winning team and more goal support moving forward
he isnt getting that going right back under Torts, and VAN isnt better equipped roster wise than NYR is |

I guess you didn't get the memo, Vancouver is going to lead the league in scoring this season.
PS- 100 hits in an hour, I'm not sure what was pointness about the blog. |
