Leafs would match 2 or 3 years I think. And after being burned like that by the Canucks, after that Gillis can forget about any Luongo deal.

As a Leaf fan I can tell you though, the hockey gods have a way of making those firsts you give away somehow get many positions away from the best case scenario...if the Nucks signed Kadri and finished twentieth, which is just a few injuries away for lots of teams with how tight the NHL is, and Kadri was mediocre for his contract, then we'd see some fireworks

Ugh, it's not even a big deal. Hodgson and Pietrangelo are much bigger pieces to their respective teams and they're still unsigned. Toronto media blowing it out of proportion, Kadri will eventually sign, the only thing that would mess it up is if the media blows it up into a bitter war of words and feelings get hurt.

Well the Sedins wil be UFA's next summer & will probably go back to Sweden since no one will offer them what they want. So the Canucks can sign up coming UFA's Kulemin & McClement. The Nucks with Kadri, Franson, Kulemin & McClement, that's a dynasty in the making. Get ready for lots of cups Vancouver!!

If he has a poopty attitude, holds out for a bit into the season, signs a bridge deal and then scores on last year's pace, I'm okay with that. Subban has a poopty attitude and I'd take him on the team too.

why does PK always get dragged through the mud by you guys? what is this crap about his attitude? when he was RFA it was his agent Don Meehan doing all the talking. PK kept his trap shut save for a bland comment here and there, signed a small deal, continued to keep his mouth shut and won the Norris trophy.
