I hope Rielly atleast gets the 10 game tryout this year, I'd love to see a small glimpse of what he can do in the NHL if he doesn't end up sticking around for the whole year.

Yes, it could help the Flames right now but no, it likely wont happen.

Toronto moves Liles because they need to free up space, thereby meaning that the Flames would need to give up draft selection(s). ALL draft selections are very important to the Flames right now and unless the Leafs are willing to entertain say a 5-7th rounder...it aint gonna happen.

Just the ways I see it...Flames don't have any players who are signed for dirt cheap who could be of use to the Leafs and they do not need to take on a guy of his age for an earlier round draft pick.
