Kadri needs to wake up and realize that the caps going up and he will get more money after a bridge deal then he will now signing long term, unless he poops the bed the next 2 years

Definitely think that Franson should get the bulk of the remaining cap room.

Kadri's attitude after just one season really makes me wonder if we're hitting another speed-bump in his maturing.

I agree that someone in their young twenties making that kinda dough should not be whining. But his agent's job is to secure as much as possible for as long as possible, and if you were in his shoes (even at that age) you would expect nothing less than market value.

the issue is determining what market value is. Is it for a centre producing at nearly a 1.0 ppg pace? or something else?

this is why I said the hard part is determining his market value...his agent can say that he matured as a player, and made the requested changes to his game...and last season was the result, and that is what you should expect going forward...

whether or not that is the case is where the debate is.
