Kyle Turris denied vehemently that he wasn't holding out demanding a trade. He swore up and down to the media. They said he was. Then he got shipped out...why? Because he was demanding a trade. Were they douches then because they defended their own sources and info when the guy involved said they were wrong.

If the Leafs had bought out John-Michael Liles in August or traded Nikolai Kulemin to open up cap space, Nonis would have no excuse to try to limit either player to a “bridge” deal, because they would have the available room under the cap to sign each to long term deals.

The jury is still out on Kadri's ultimate progression, but you have to admit that Kadri was Eberle's equal last year.

He's not worth Eberle's $6 mill per yet though. If he puts a 70+ point season this year he would be. I'd give him the Henrique deal right now though, if he'd take it.

I wouldn't take that chance if that allows him to become a UFA. Id rather see how he does this year in a full year, still having him as an RFA, and then we can see if we want to move him or keep him. Same goes with kadri but on a 2 year deal. Next years free agency will be a good one hopefully

kadri could very well be lying. no denying that.

Bobo's response came across as "i know more than you". It's possible he may have first hand information from the negotiations, but bobo can't possibly present a case where he's in a position to know better than kadri what's been asked for in terms of salary demands.
