D was pretty bad. Wasn't too impressed with Erikssson.

Ortio played great. Would have been a closer game without him.

Nice drafting guys!

All kidding/jabbing aside, Luongo and those two young studs is better than Schneider. The city of Vancouver owes Luongo BIG TIME, he has been a class act throughout.

trust me man, We know how lucky we are to have him. Regardless off whether or not he likes it here. He's a competitor and he wants to win and thats all that matters.

And yes, We lucked out in the draft.

And as upset as I was the the first rounder was all we got for Schneids, Given this teams awful cap space, it was clearly a cap move and should benefit us in the long run.

If you was moved, I would have been happy. Lou, Didnt get moved, Im still happy.

Win, Win.

Not only that but I am trading Lu and Edler for Shea Weber seeing Rinne sucked last year.

If Kesler couldn't work with those two guys then we should move him now.

I would put Cassells between Vanek and Kessel.
Horvat between Booth and Kassian.
Schroeder between Burrows and Hansen.

For those who seen the two prospects games ,does anyone on the forwards look ready to jump onto the NHL team?

Most people agreed he was a lock for a top 10 pick. Was rated 6th among North American skaters. Thankfully for Canucks fans OG was able to spread the word about him being a d!ck so the Canucks could steal him later in the first round.
Last night showed that Horvat and Shinkaruk will be elite. They're gonna make Hall and Eberle look like punks.

If Luongo retired after this year what would the cap hit be on the recapture each year?

In that case he could not really force Canucks hands into trading him.

That Yakupov hit was amazing! What a fantastic shoulder to shoulder smash into the boards to a kid that was hearing footsteps and afraid to go 100% into the corner.

THe Taylor Hall slash was horrible, he shouldn't have done that. I'll take a moment of weakness terrible brain-dead slash from someone with too much passion over a sissy "me first" diver like Kessler any day of the year. But yeah, the Hall slash was really bad, too much emotion and not enough thinking on that one.
