Ah yes, a leaf fan ripping the twins in the playoffs. How many playoff series wins do Neon and Kessel have between them?
- Bieksa#3

Takes me about as long to count them as it does you stanley cup championships.

Probably be a good idea. Not much of a leg for you to stand on in this one.

Seeing as how the Oilers have done great in this tournament in recent years and then sucked ass in the actual NHL season, I view this as encouraging.

Yeah I would take any victory you can at this point. I wouldn't blame you celebrating the trainers filling up water bottles without spilling any

Trust me I know they will get term and salary here. This is Vancouver the resting home for players on NTC/NMC .

I know it will happen and we will pay dearly. They didn't win us a cup in their prime but now that they are slowing down maybe they can do it.

Yep yep great reset this year . Effin Richardson. Plan the parade.

Ok, we all know pretty much where everybody stands with respect to the Sedins and I can appreciate differing viewpoints.

That said, can you please provide a realistic (being the key word here) course of action to 1) replace the Sedins with a better option through trade or UFA or otherwise 2) to strengthen the hockey club both in the near future and long term, but without tanking for the next 3-5 years (and not like that is a guarantee of success either)

All the top end players are on the Oilers , unlike the the young Flames that could probably beat the parent club.

So jealous. Toronto must have been crazy with all the recent Cup runs. Amazing how they have managed to stay competitive for so many seasons.

I think you missed the point, which is that this tourney is essentially pointless. The most interesting thing I've seen is that the Oilers have a goalie named Rimmer in the system. haha....Rimmer.

5-2 Nucks prospects final.

Marincin, Gernat, Klefbom are all busts. Hopefully we can trade all 3 for a 4th rounder.

Seriously? I can't imagine that jersey will be a hot seller if he makes it to the NHL

No ,I can't do that because, I don't predict the future. I have no idea of who will be available at the end of next year when their contracts run out. You could have players like Vanek Kessel Thorton or you could have Joe Schlubb. I do know if you offer the Sedins 12-14 mil you have very little chance of improving this is what you get.

We get to draft 20 th for the next five years or whatever.
