5-2 Nucks prospects final.
Marincin, Gernat, Klefbom are all busts. Hopefully we can trade all 3 for a 4th rounder. - TheTaoOfSemenko

Trust me I know they will get term and salary here. This is Vancouver the resting home for players on NTC/NMC .
I know it will happen and we will pay dearly. They didn't win us a cup in their prime but now that they are slowing down maybe they can do it.
Yep yep great reset this year . Effin Richardson. Plan the parade. - VANTEL
You're a Canuck fan—it's not like this is anything new.
Don't see what this has to do with th Sedins' value. Whether they led the team to a cup or not, their level of play puts them in the $6 million + range.
But if you think the team is bad with the Sedins, how are they better without them? |

ahhh, so that's why they don't score in the playoffs. Too busy worrying about their defensive side of the game. Makes sense now.... - Sheppy99
The Sedins are .97 and .91 points a game respectively in the playoffs the last 6 years.
How is that not scoring? |

Id combine two of their goalies on one jersey:

Yep they are 6 mil players and they will eat up 1.20 of every PP with 80% of the passes going between the two of them , and 22min a night to get their one point each . Ive seen it for the last 5 years and every year (for lack of a better expression ) we are cupless. Can't wait to go through 5 more years of the same.
If hockey is suppose to be a team sport why is there so much passing behind the net and along the boards between 2 players only? |

30% of their scoring comes off the PP not to mention all the offensive zone faceoffs they get. |

Lock em up for 5 years, give em another season or two cause that's basically your window anyways and if you don't get the big silver thing, trade em for as much as you can.
Then let the rebuild begin. |

This is going to be one of the best seasons for a upcoming free-agent to get whatever they want. The Rangers are gonna have close to 30 million in cap space next year, and you know how much they'll pay for a name, no matter how old they are. Even if they want to stay in Vancouver, they can wait for the off-season to use NY to drive up their asking price. |

Again, you're mixing up what you prefer with what a player's value is.
That's fine that you don't like that style.
But it doesn't have anything to do with their value.
Also, I think all of the players whose stats have been inflated by playing with the Sedins all these years would beg to differ with your assertion that they only pass amongst themselves.
They are not greedy or selfish players. They pass more amongst themselves because they have incredible chemistry.
The blame for the PP struggles doesn't fall solely on the Sedins (thought it was Edler's fault...). They probably deserve the least of the blame.
The three previous years it was never outside the top 5 or 10 in the league. |

Well thanks to GIllis, there is now 2 things I like about the Canucks which I never thought would happen.
Lu has become my new favorite goalie cause I just think the guy is pure class and hilarious as hell AND I get to watch Torts on CBC more often this year. Woot.
Never would of thought in a million years I'd become a Lu fan....... weird |
