So the 'home-town' goaltender was fighting the puck and letting in bad goals, but will assuredly be fine in a few weeks... whereas the 'other' goaltender actually played extremely well, however this was only luck?
In spite of being a year younger Ortio has played for Finland at 2 different WJC tournaments, played last year for Finland at the World Championships, and was far more of a clear-cut #1 starter for Helsinki than Eriksson was in Skelleftea.
Given this, I would hardly say that one good performance against a bunch of kids and undrafted invitees is not necessarily any kind of a fluke - casually dismissing his performance as such reeks of petty bias, and undermines credibility.
