Isn't this the same guy who mentioned Garrison's contract in the same sentence as Booth's and said it was a bad one?

Fair enough. Just like Ralph Wilson and the Bills lol. At least Snider won a cpl times. I dont see Philly doing more than a 2nd rd exit until they admit their wrongs. Instead replace mistakes for mistakes. Oh well I hope for the best. I am an Eagles fan so I have a soft spot for the Flyers. - FLflames34

For now, Washington is a middling team and it's only the first game, nobody is firing on all cylinders defensively or offensively. If they're still playing this good by November then you can be happy. |

No its not a shock he was a star in Columbus. But you don't pay your back-up 3 million a year when you just signed Bryz. I blame a lot on Lavi too, he did a terrible job of handling Bob in the 2010 playoffs. Snider came in during the offseason and said never again. We played 3 goalies in the first round of the playoffs. The refusal for a full rebuild is baffling? How so? The trade of Richards and Carter WAS our rebuild. I think the return for Carter was better than the return for Richards. Voracek completely compensates Carters offensive output, I'd say he's better defensively, and we got Couturier and Nick Cousins (2nd overall scorer in OHL this past year).
Does he have his mistakes? Certainly. But I'd take going for it every year and making the move when you have the chance, than cheering for a team like Buffalo who never seems to make the big move - GirouxForTheShow

NHL 15 will be available for the PS4 and that will be my next hockey purchase. I'm not that interested in hockey games for this gen consoles anymore. - Sheppy99

NHL 14 is only coming out on the current generation console, so until a game worth purchasing on the PS4 comes out, ill just stick with my PS3. - GirouxForTheShow

Cowboys offense looks good, but I'm not sold on their defense and Romo IMO has lost a bit of arm strength. Skins, they're defense should be decent, they were okay last year and got back some good players from injury, RG3 IMO just needed to shake off the rust and if he and Garcon can stay healthy then I see the Skins/Cowboys finishing 1-2. Not sold on the Giants defense and run game at all. Eagles offense will be just fine, but I still worry about the defense and think that Vick will eventually go down. Like KB3 said yesterday, all 4 teams will probably finish 1-3 wins apart. Healthiest/luckiest team may just win it. |

Not sold on any of the NFC East teams to tell the truth, too many holes in each of them. I don't think you're going to get a wild card team in that division this year and whoever wins is going out in the wild card round. Not sold on the Skins and RG3 being as good as he was last year, Philly has horrible defense, the Cowboys are a mess and Romo is a less mobile version and a slightly more accurate Tim Tebow (who at least has won a big playoff game). The Giants have no defense and no running back to speak of. I actually see Philly possibly winning the division as they have the slightly easier schedule of the 4 teams, but a lot is going to depend on their record divisionally which was poor last year.
My bet is it's going to come down to Seattle or San Fran winning the NFC (I lean to Seattle because they have the better defense and defense wins championships, which is the lesson the 49ers need to learn) and winning the Super Bowl. Other than Denver, which is going to have a great year offensively, there's no team in the AFC that scares me, they all are middling teams with huge holes, older QBs who are past their primes, or are just plain BAD.

Ville Leino says hi. Poor Buffalo.
when was the last time Philly had a respectable goalie...Hextall?
I dont think that was your rebuild...still at the ceiling after two buyouts Meszaros and Hartnell...bad contracts. However, Calgary will take Read off your hands!!! Timonen being your best dman speaks to the failure of Holmgren. No wonder Bryz strug....err never mind. He let in some terrible goals. Your dcorp was grossly neglected though and to get only Schenn for JVR....that puts Nonis a hair above Holmgren for the gm basement.
Rebuild or no at least philly is competitive every yr. I just feel they overreached on the finals run. No diff than Calgary after 04. Similar franchises. - FLflames34
After the whole O reily offer sheet..... yeah Calgary fans should just be quiet in any GM Debate. |
