Someone pointed out the lack of reaction about Rasheed Wallace not going to the White House. Perfect example of the media's hypocrisy in their treatment of Tim.

The logical fit would have been the Avs. Tim being from CO and their having a young goaltender who could learn from his work habits. Why didn't it happen? Why were there so few takers? Because they know it would be a distraction to bring him in as the US media would be constantly focusing on his politics.

Why is it when someone in sports is asked a question, answers honestly, and then is persecuted if the response isn't what the "lame stream media" with their own agenda prefers. Let the man go! I've noticed that a lot of people seem to be confused about this. Having the "right" to do something doesn't mean you're exempt from criticism. By not being an adult and going to the white house event he was being a bit of a jackass and hurting the team a bit. Does Tim Thomas have the right to be a jackass? Absolutely! Spell check on iPhones sometimes do that. His point is what mattered most. I find it interesting that you chastise others for missing punctuation and/or spell check, then do it yourself, reference "it it" and missing commas, amongst other grammatical errors!
