I'm pretty sure this happened more then a couple times. Maybe not last season, but the season before. Not that uncommon in pre-season with so many players looking to make the team.

Here's an idea, text them your seat location or call them and arrange to meet them at intermission or after the game. What value is it to anyone to know where you're sitting from across the arena? Are they going to watch what you eat or try to spy out your facial reactions to what's happening on the ice?
